Brickinfo News Agency – GEELY RIDDARA THAILAND secured the fourth position in Thailand’s double cab pickup truck market for the third consecutive month from June to August 2026, driven by recent portfolio expansions including the ALL-NEW GEELY RIDDARA ECON L and the NEW GEELY RIDDARA RD6 MY2026.

The sales results reflect shifting consumer preferences in Thailand’s pickup truck sector, moving toward vehicles that combine commercial utility with passenger comfort and electric powertrains. General Manager of GEELY RIDDARA THAILAND Cao Feng stated that the company focuses on establishing new-energy pickups as a mainstream choice for practical applications, including cargo hauling, commercial operations, and personal travel.

During the BIG Motor Sale 2026, the company expanded its lineup with the ALL-NEW GEELY RIDDARA ECON L, securing 590 bookings across both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive variants. The model features a cargo bed extended by 240 mm to a total length of 1,765 mm, a storage volume of 1,380 liters, and a maximum payload capacity of 1,235 kg, alongside standard double cab passenger seating and energy costs up to 20 percent lower than internal-combustion-engine alternatives.

The company also introduced the NEW GEELY RIDDARA RD6 MY2026, which incorporates an updated LED front grille across the range. The vehicle generates a maximum power output of 315 kW and 595 Nm of peak torque, offering an NEDC driving range of up to 503 kilometers, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, a top speed of 190 km/h, Level 2+ driver assistance systems, and a 6 kW external power supply.

Moving forward, GEELY RIDDARA THAILAND plans to expand market distribution across commercial fleets, government agencies, private enterprises, small-to-medium businesses, and retail buyers to increase electric vehicle adoption in Thailand’s pickup truck segment.
