True Corporation Upgrades 5G Network Across 19 Chao Phraya River Locations Ahead of Royal Barge Procession

The technical preparations span both the Phra Nakhon and Thon Buri banks, from Krung Thon Bridge to Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, serving anticipated crowds gathering for the royal event.

Engineering teams conducted signal assessments and capacity expansion from August 17 through rehearsals held on October 21 and 28, 2026. True Corporation deployed mobile Cell-on-Wheel (COW) units, built temporary sites, and expanded base station capacity. The designated zones include high-traffic viewing points such as Rama VIII Bridge, Tha Chang Pier, Tha Maharaj, Siriraj Hospital, and the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall.

The company’s Business and Network Intelligence Center (BNIC) operates 24/7 alongside AI-driven systems to monitor network loads, process actual usage traffic data, and manage bandwidth surges for live streaming and mobile data transmissions throughout the procession.
