Brickinfo News Agency – King Gen Public Company Limited (KGEN), a company with existing operations in logistics, transport, and commercial EV charging station services, is actively pursuing an agreement to become the exclusive importer and distributor of Farizon new energy commercial vehicles in Thailand. This strategic move aims to introduce Farizon’s range of smart and sustainable electric vehicles to the Thai market, with a stated focus on environmental impact, safety, and technological innovation.

The discussions between King Gen and Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle, a brand under the Geely Holding Group, took place during the 2025 International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo in Hong Kong. Mr. Khanist Srivajiraprabha, Chairman of the Advisory Board, King Gen Public Company Limited, emphasized Thailand’s growing EV sector as a key driver for this expansion.

Farizon, a prominent brand within the Geely Holding Group, is recognized for its “Methanol + Electric” strategy, which integrates clean energy with advanced technology for sustainable transportation solutions. Supported by what is reported as China’s largest R&D facility in the sector, Farizon’s product line includes heavy-duty trucks, light trucks, mini vehicles, LCVs, and buses. In 2024, the brand recorded global sales exceeding 300,000 units, securing a leading market position and expanding into international markets across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and South America.

Among Farizon’s offerings, the Farizon SuperVan (SV) has gained international attention for its safety features and multi-functional design suitable for various applications, including passenger transport and cargo delivery. The SuperVan has achieved a Platinum Safety Rating from Euro NCAP, a European vehicle safety authority. Other models, such as the SV Combi and SV Taxi, are designed for combined passenger and cargo use, offering spacious interiors, intelligent systems, and safety features for urban mobility.
