Thai Prime Minister Meets Singaporean Counterpart Before Addressing Forbes Global CEO Conference

Brickinfo News Agency – Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived in Singapore on October 7, 2026, to attend the 24th Forbes Global CEO Conference, an international forum bringing together business executives and global investors to discuss economic opportunities.

Secretary-General to the Prime Minister Traisuree Taisaranakul stated that following his arrival, Prime Minister Anutin attended a tea reception hosted by Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Shangri-La Singapore. During the meeting, both leaders discussed bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, the digital economy, and regional connectivity to support economic growth and competitiveness for both nations.

Prime Minister Anutin is scheduled to meet with Forbes Media executives before participating in an on-stage one-on-one discussion with Steve Forbes during the conference. The session will focus on Thailand’s economic policies, investment climate, and trade direction.

The visit comes ahead of Thailand hosting the 2026 IMF-World Bank Group Annual Meetings, scheduled to take place from October 12 to 18, 2026, in Bangkok.
