VGI Reports THB 1,140 Million Revenue in 1Q 2026/27 Driven by Digital and Distribution Growth

Brickinfo News Agency – VGI Public Company Limited recorded revenue from sales and services of THB 1,140 million and a net profit of THB 261 million for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026/27. The financial performance was supported by revenue expansion in digital services and distribution segments, offsetting lower advertising revenue amid challenging economic conditions.

The advertising business generated THB 444 million from transit and office media during the quarter. The overall media utilization rate decreased to 49.1% from 51.0% in the same period last year, reflecting lower advertising demand.

The digital services business generated THB 433 million in revenue, driven by online financial and insurance platform Rabbit Care and nano-finance provider Rabbit Cash. Bangkok Smartcard System, operator of the Rabbit Card, is conducting a feasibility study on EMV contactless card technology to support the government's common ticketing policy and fare structure.

The distribution business generated THB 263 million in revenue. Subsidiary Rabbit Bytes Co., Ltd. distributed technology, lifestyle, and snack products using BTS Group media and logistics networks. Retail operator Super Turtle operated 36 TURTLE shops, an increase of 8 shops from the previous year, and plans to pilot new retail outlets at Bangchak gas stations.

On July 17, 2026, VGI shareholders approved offsetting all retained losses to allow for potential future dividend payments. As of the end of the quarter, VGI held THB 21 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and current financial assets, accounting for 52% of total assets.

For fiscal year 2026/27, VGI targets total revenue of THB 5,000 million to THB 5,500 million, representing an estimated annual growth rate of 8% to 18%. The company plans to maintain its operational collaboration with Plan B Media Public Company Limited while continuing targeted investments in digital platforms and retail distribution.
