QSNCC to Temporarily Close October 11–18 for 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings

Brickinfo News Agency – The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) will temporarily close and restrict public access to all facilities from October 11 to 18, 2026, as it prepares to serve as the official venue for the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings.

The temporary closure aims to facilitate venue operations, security arrangements, and hospitality services to meet international standards for delegates and participants attending from across the globe. All commercial and public areas will remain inaccessible to visitors throughout the eight-day period, with regular operations scheduled to resume on October 19, 2026.

The venue management has urged the general public to avoid traveling to the immediate vicinity during this timeframe to prevent traffic congestion. The hosting of the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings marks Thailand's second time organizing this global financial conference, following its first hosting 35 years ago in 1991.
