Brickinfo News Agency – Mongolian rock band The HU, featuring members Galaa, Jaya, Temka, and Enkush, released their new digital EP, “Echos of Thunder,” on June 13 via Better Noise Music. The EP expands on three tracks from their 2022 album, “Rumble of Thunder,” with alternate versions featuring guest artists from bands such as Alice in Chains and Thousand Foot Krutch, as well as ROME and Neon Trees.

The “Echos of Thunder” EP includes remixed and re-recorded versions of “This Is Mongol,” “Bii Biyelgee,” and “Triangle.” Notably, “This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls) (Feat. William DuVall from Alice In Chains and Trevor McNevan from Thousand Foot Krutch) – Teerawk Remix” sees Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch, under his remix alias Teerawk, contributing additional vocals and lyrics. The EP also features “Bii Biyelgee” with Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees and “Triangle” with ROME. The original versions of these three songs are also included on the EP.

Galaa, frontman of The HU, stated, “I am glad that our label partners at Better Noise Music suggested this EP because, as I like to say, from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal, our genre of Hunnu Rock has no limits. The ECHOS OF THUNDER EP presents an opportunity for more collaborations with different artists to expand on our original music. We hope our loyal fans will enjoy these new versions of songs from the RUMBLE OF THUNDER album!”

The HU’s headlining “Incarnation” world tour began its European leg on June 6 in Maastricht, NL. This tour includes supporting shows for the Scandinavian folk band Heilung and appearances at European music festivals such as Hellfest and Graspop Metal Meeting. The band’s 2022 album, “Rumble of Thunder,” was followed by global tours, including stops in Japan and performances at festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza. In November 2022, The HU received the UNESCO “Artist of Peace” Designation from UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, France.
