SCGC Secures Green Leadership Recognition at Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2026

The accolade recognized the company’s initiative titled Operational Excellence in Sustainable Waste Management, an operational framework aimed at managing industrial waste across its manufacturing value chain. Supavinee Kitsanawattana, Head of the Environmental Excellence Center, accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

The recognition stems from the implementation of the SCGC Smart Waste Management Platform, a centralized digital system designed to track and oversee waste generation, transport, recycling, and final treatment. The platform incorporates artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and data analytics to optimize operational workflows, reduce documentation, and ensure end-to-end traceability across participating facilities.

Through this data-driven infrastructure, the company achieved its target of Zero Waste to Landfill, preventing industrial waste from being directed to landfill sites. The monitoring architecture also supports regulatory adherence and enables ongoing evaluation of waste performance indicators through analytics dashboards.

The Green Leadership category at AREA assesses enterprises based on demonstrable environmental stewardship, measurable resource efficiency, emission and waste reduction programs, and the systematic integration of environmental standards into core operational strategies across the Asian region.
