CP Group and True Corporation Showcase Commercial Frontier Tech at CP Innovation Exposition 2026
Brickinfo News Agency – CP Group and True Corporation hosted a panel discussion titled “The New Frontier of Technology in Action” at the CP Innovation Exposition 2026 in Bangkok on October 22, 2026, examining the transition of frontier technologies from laboratory research into commercial applications. Led by Ekaraj Panjavinin, Head of Research and Innovation at True Corporation Plc, the session gathered industry partners to assess the integration of humanoid robotics, quantum computing, low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, and neurotechnology into Thailand’s industrial and service sectors.

The discussion highlighted four primary technological domains:
Humanoid Robotics and Physical AI
Kun Huang, Vice President for the Asia Pacific and Middle East Region at Agibot, categorized the firm as a physical artificial intelligence company developing locomotion, manipulation, and human-interaction systems. Agibot currently manufactures full-bodied humanoids, wheeled robots, and quadrupedal units deployed across manufacturing, logistics, and hospitality. Following anticipated sales growth in 2026 of four to five times its previous year’s volume, the company plans to expand partnerships in Thailand over the next three years to implement robotics in material handling, sorting, and customer service.

Quantum Computing Integration
Anothai Wettayakorn, Country Manager of IBM Thailand, addressed the convergence of quantum computing with artificial intelligence and hybrid cloud platforms. While commercial quantum applications remain in early phases, IBM has extended access to global research entities and domestic partners, including Chiang Mai University and Quantum Club Thailand. IBM is targeting fault-tolerant quantum computing systems by 2029 under its IBM Quantum Starling initiative, with ongoing local efforts focused on developing software, algorithms, and technical expertise to address domestic challenges.

Low Earth Orbit Satellite Systems
Peter Huang, International Vice President at Galaxy Space, reported that the company has deployed more than 50 satellites to integrate broadband communications, orbital computing, and Earth observation. Galaxy Space’s radar-based Earth observation functions under continuous day, night, and heavy cloud conditions, supporting agricultural monitoring and flood tracking in tropical climates. In 2026, the company validated direct-to-cell satellite connectivity for unmodified consumer smartphones. In Thailand, Galaxy Space collaborates with True Corporation and Mahanakorn University of Technology to develop platforms for flood forecasting and wildfire tracking, while preparing for integrated 6G non-terrestrial network infrastructure over the next three years.

Non-Invasive Neurotechnology
Hualiang Ni, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OYMotion, detailed advances in decoding neural signals via non-invasive surface sensors to operate prosthetics and rehabilitation devices. Unlike earlier systems dependent on predefined gestures, current AI models decode movement signals to allow real-time control of individual prosthetic fingers without surgical implants. OYMotion reports deploying robotic prosthetic devices to over 3,000 individuals with limb loss and applying the technology toward stroke rehabilitation. The company aims to refine continuous bionic limb movement over the next three years, exploring clinical deployment with healthcare facilities in Thailand.
