TrueBusiness Partners with Google for Education to Launch AI Ecosystem for Thai Universities
Brickinfo News Agency – TrueBusiness has announced a nationwide partnership with Google for Education to establish an AI Ecosystem aimed at transforming Thailand’s higher education sector. This initiative is designed to transition local institutions into AI-Driven Universities by upgrading digital infrastructure, training educators for the AI era, and enhancing overall education quality to boost the country’s global competitiveness.
Under this collaboration, TrueBusiness will leverage its network infrastructure to provide specialized services, including Private Wi-Fi, to ensure seamless connectivity across campus environments. Concurrently, Google Workspace for Education will deploy its flexible, secure, and AI-driven tools, enabling students and teachers to collaborate efficiently from any device.
The initiative heavily emphasizes empowering educators through Gemini, an AI tool within Google Workspace for Education that assists teachers in gathering learning insights, brainstorming creative lesson plans, and building personalized study curriculums. To further streamline university operations, TrueBusiness will integrate automated systems, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to reduce administrative paperwork, allowing faculty members to focus more on direct student engagement. Additionally, digital skills development training will be provided to educational staff through True Digital Academy.
Dr. Teeradet Dumrongbhalasitr, Chief Business Officer of True Corporation Plc., stated that transforming the Thai education sector in the AI era requires an ecosystem that supports learners, educators, and institutions simultaneously. He noted that True Corporation has previously worked with Google on the ‘AI for All Thais’ project, and this extended partnership aims to systematically integrate digital infrastructure, a world-class educational platform, and AI technology to establish digital roadmaps for Thai higher education. “Consequently, this partnership is not limited to merely adopting AI in classrooms; rather, it focuses on building a resilient AI-era education ecosystem,” Dumrongbhalasitr added.
Scott Wong, Southeast Asia & Northeast Asia (ex-JP) Lead for Google for Education, expressed that education serves as a foundation for opportunity and equality. He highlighted that combining TrueBusiness’ reach with Google’s secure, AI-driven tools will enable Thai universities to adopt technology in meaningful ways, creating a more collaborative and secure future for both students and educators.
To initiate this strategic alliance, the two organizations recently hosted a seminar titled “The Future of AI in Higher Education” at True Digital Park. The event brought together over 60 executives and faculty members representing 30 universities nationwide, including Chiang Mai University, Khon Kaen University, Maejo University, Naresuan University, Prince of Songkla University, and Burapha University. During the seminar, a representative from Naresuan University shared the institution’s experience in deploying these digital and AI solutions, showcasing its transition from a Smart University into an exemplary AI-Driven University.
