World of Gaming: gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 Unveils Lineup
Brickinfo News Agency – gamescom asia and Thailand Game Show have announced their combined event, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show, is set to take place in Bangkok from October 16-19, 2025. Held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, the event will feature separate business and entertainment areas, with a theme of “World of Gaming.” The announcement confirmed the participation of numerous global gaming companies and industry figures, including a keynote from veteran game designer Glen Schofield.
The event’s entertainment area, running from October 17-19, will showcase a wide range of content for the public. Gamers can expect to see major international brands such as Bandai Namco Entertainment, CAPCOM, HoYoverse, Ubisoft, and XBOX. The exhibition will also feature the latest hardware and peripherals from brands like AMD, Intel, and SteelSeries, with product launches and exclusive promotions. A dedicated indie area, making its debut in Thailand, will offer over 80 playable titles from developers worldwide.

Live tournaments, including a Street Fighter 6 competition with a 30,000 THB prize, and a cosplay competition with a prize pool of over 300,000 THB, are scheduled for the entertainment area. The main stage will host continuous content, including live performances and fan meet-and-greets with creators and voice actors. The event’s theme song, composed by Amm Atchariya, will be performed live by Jannine “Ploychompoo” Weigel.
For industry professionals, the business area will run from October 16-17. This section will feature an exhibition with country pavilions from 18 nations and a conference with over 70 speakers from 20 countries. Glen Schofield, known for his work on Dead Space and Call of Duty, will deliver a headline session discussing how he finds inspiration. Other confirmed speakers are from companies like Avalanche Studios, Bethesda, Gearbox, Marvel Games, and Pocketpair.
Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager of Asia-Pacific at Koelnmesse, noted that the event represents “a bold new chapter—not just for gamescom asia, but for Southeast Asia’s growing influence in the global gaming economy.” Pongsuk Hiranprueck, CEO of Show No Limit Co., Ltd., also commented on the collaboration, stating it “is a key partnership that’s set to boost the gaming industry, not just in Thailand but across Southeast Asia and beyond.”
