Mazda Launches All-Electric CX-6e in Thailand Starting at 1.259 Million Baht

Brickinfo News Agency – Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has officially launched the All-Electric Mazda CX-6e in Thailand, marking the brand’s full-scale entry into the battery electric vehicle (BEV) segment. The electric SUV is offered in two variants: the Premium at 1,259,000 baht and the Premium Sports at 1,299,000 baht. Built on a dedicated EV platform, the model is produced by Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. (CMA) in China under a long-standing joint venture between Mazda Motor Corporation and Changan Automobile.

The Mazda CX-6e features a rear-wheel-drive powertrain equipped with a 77.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. It generates a maximum output of 258 horsepower (190 kW) and 290 Nm of torque. The Premium variant offers a driving range of up to 555 kilometers, while the Premium Sports delivers up to 524 kilometers under the NEDC standard. The vehicle supports DC fast charging, replenishing the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 15 minutes when connected to a 200 kW or higher charger.

Inside the cabin, the SUV is equipped with an ultra-wide 26.45-inch touchscreen center display with dual-split functionality, an augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD), a rear touchscreen, and a 23-speaker audio system. It also features digital side and rear-view mirrors, gesture control, voice recognition, and 17 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) alongside nine airbags.

Mr. Toru Nakajima, Senior Executive Officer of Mazda Motor Corporation, stated that the launch reflects the automaker’s global multi-solution strategy, delivering electrified mobility while reaffirming Thailand’s role as a key market. Mr. Thee Permpongpanth, President and CEO of Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., noted that the model expands the CX-Series lineup to meet the growing demand for family-oriented electric SUVs. Bookings made within October 2026 include an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer vehicle and high-voltage battery warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance, and a complimentary 7.4 kW home charger with installation.
