Thailand Denies State of War After Cambodia Border Clash
Brickinfo News Agency – Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai stated that Thailand will not declare a state of war despite recent border clashes with Cambodia. However, he emphasized that Thailand will not tolerate any violation of its sovereignty. The statement followed a special meeting of the National Security Council (NSC).

The recent clashes between Thailand and Cambodia reportedly began when Cambodian forces initiated an attack, firing heavy weaponry into Thai territory. This resulted in 11 fatalities, including 10 civilians and 1 soldier, and 28 injuries, comprising 24 civilians and 4 soldiers.
Following the incident, orders were issued for the evacuation of residents in four border provinces: Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Buriram, and Surin. Citizens are being moved at least 50 kilometers away from the border for their safety.
