Samdech Hun Sen Denies Leaving Cambodia Amidst Border Tensions, Vows to Command Troops
Brickinfo News Agency – Samdech Hun Sen of Cambodia has directly addressed recent Thai media reports claiming he departed Cambodia for China. In a statement posted on his personal page, Samdech Hun Sen categorically denied these reports, asserting his continued presence in Cambodia and his active involvement in commanding the nation’s armed forces.

Samdech Hun Sen stated he is currently coordinating military operations remotely via video and other systems with the Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, and various levels of armed forces commanders. His objective, he stated, is to “strike the invading Thai thieves.” He urged Cambodian citizens not to worry, emphasizing, “I am not running anywhere.“

He specified that his command post has been active since the moment the Thai Second Army Region Commander reportedly threatened to close the Ta Muen Thom Temple border crossing. Samdech Hun Sen identified the Thai Second Army Region Commander as the instigator of the current conflict, citing the order to close Ta Muen Thom Temple yesterday and the subsequent firing upon Cambodian troops this morning.

Samdech Hun Sen further recalled that this particular Thai commander had previously threatened to defeat Cambodia within three days. He expressed a desire to witness this “three-day strategy.” He concluded his statement by criticizing what he described as the “lying nature” of Thai politicians and media, characterizing it as their “normal culture,” and adding the phrase, “Don’t Thai to me!“
