Brickinfo News Agency Contributes to “Public Classroom” Project for Journalism Students

Brickinfo News Agency – The Thai Journalists Association, in collaboration with the Thai Media Fund and educational institutions nationwide, has organized a series of “Public Classroom” workshops. This initiative, part of a project to enhance media literacy and media monitoring for professional development and ethical promotion, is being conducted across four regions of Thailand. Brickinfo News Agency has contributes in this project, sharing knowledge with students.

Nopparit Kamolsuwan, Editor and Founder of Brickinfo News Agency, stated that as a smaller news agency, Brickinfo was pleased to be given the opportunity by the Thai Journalists Association to contribute to the “Public Classroom” workshops. He noted that the project aims to equip new communicators with the professional skills and ethical principles essential for reporting, which can lead to positive societal change.

Kamolsuwan emphasized the ongoing importance of journalistic skills and ethics, even as more young people pursue careers as content creators. “While younger generations may increasingly aspire to be content creators, this doesn’t diminish the importance of professional skills and journalistic ethics,” he said. “If the new generation can produce content based on these principles, it will build credibility for themselves and contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.”

The Public Classroom workshops offer students a comprehensive curriculum covering media literacy, journalistic values, professional ethics, and specialized skills for modern mass communicators. The program includes lectures from experienced media professionals, practical workshops, and field activities. Students also have the opportunity to network with peers and industry professionals.

The Editor and Founder of Brickinfo News Agency served as both a lecturer and mentor for two regional workshops: the Northeastern Public Classroom from June 13-15, 2025, at Panlaan Boutique Resort in Nong Khai Province, and the Southern Public Classroom from June 20-22, 2025, at CCentara Hotel Hat Yai in Songkhla Province.
