Brickinfo News Agency – Maho Rasop, known for its annual music festival, is set to return with a new format. Organized by HAVE YOU HEARD?, the event will transition into a concert series, featuring individual artist performances spread throughout the year. The inaugural show, “Maho Rasop Series: Black Country, New Road by HAVE YOU HEARD?”, will take place on December 13, 2025, at Search Studio.

Black Country, New Road, formed in 2018 by a group of music students, is recognized for its experimental arrangements that blend baroque pop, progressive, rock, and folk genres. The band quickly gained attention for their dynamic live performances and nuanced vocals, leading to a signing with Ninja Tune. Their debut album, “For the first time” (2021), introduced a distinctive sound incorporating strings and brass with rock and post-punk elements. The second album, “Ants From Up There” (2022), showcased a more playful progressive style. Despite the departure of lead vocalist and guitarist Isaac Wood, the remaining members—Tyler Hyde (vocals, bass), Georgia Ellery (violin, backing vocals), May Kershaw (vocals, keyboard), Lewis Evans (vocals, flute, saxophone), Charlie Wayne (drums, backing vocals), and Luke Mark (guitar)—continued to produce. Their third album, “Forever Howlong” (2025), features singles like “Besties,” “Happy Birthday,” and “For the Cold Country,” signaling a more accessible musical direction. “Forever Howlong” achieved commercial success, reaching number 3 on the UK Albums Chart, number 1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart, and marking the band’s first appearance on the US Billboard 200.

The upcoming concert will also feature performances by two local acts: Soft Pine, an indie rock band known for their psychedelic and playful sound, and Lepyutin, who blends jazz, psychedelic, and alternative rock. Both bands have previously performed at the Maho Rasop Festival.

Tickets for the Black Country, New Road concert are priced at 2,200 Baht (Regular) and 2,400 Baht (At Door). Sales are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM via https://hyhbkk.live/bcnr. Additionally, “Blind Bundle Tickets,” offering entry to three shows from HAVE YOU HEARD?, Seen Scene Space, and Fungjai (non-duplicating), will be available for 3,790 Baht.
