Brickinfo News Agency – Central: The Original Store, a cultural landmark in Charoenkrung, is hosting “A Moment in Time,” a contemporary art exhibition featuring works by Thai artists Parada Sukkrasanti and Raksit Jitburanachat. The exhibition, running from June 4 to July 6, 2025, aims to provide a space for visitors to engage with themes of emotion, memory, and the present moment.

The exhibition is displayed across Central Space, level 3, and the Event Exhibition, level 4, within Central: The Original Store. This location, opened in October 2020, is situated in the historical area of old Bangkok where Central Group’s first retail store was founded in 1950 by Tiang and Samrit Chirathivat. The five-story main building is connected to an antique two-story house via a courtyard, with the design overseen by Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen and Japanese design studio Tripster.

“A Moment in Time” encourages a focus on the present. The collection, comprising paintings and mixed media, explores the transient nature of time and the significance found in stillness and silence. The exhibition highlights the unique quality of each moment, whether fleeting or lingering, and its individual meaning.

Parada Sukkrasanti, an Illustration graduate from Kyoto Seika University, draws inspiration from clouds and cats, incorporating these elements into her works to convey feelings of comfort and tranquility. Her art seeks to offer moments of calm to the viewer. Raksit Jitburanachat (Koong), an illustrator and storyteller who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University, focuses on observations of everyday people. Through his illustrations and short comics, Koong aims to present meaningful stories from ordinary experiences, providing reflections on life’s simple aspects.

The exhibition “A Moment in Time” by Parada Sukkrasanti and Raksit Jitburanachat is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at Central: The Original Store until July 6, 2025.
