Brickinfo News Agency – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) is set to host two major events, the “MHESI Fair 2025: SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND” and the “National Science and Technology Festival 2025” (NST Fair 2025), from August 9-17, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The events are designed to showcase Thailand’s advancements in higher education, science, research, and innovation, and to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Officials stated the dual event aims to engage the public, particularly youth, in hands-on learning experiences and inspire a creative, science-driven future for the country.

Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, Minister of MHESI, announced the ministry’s readiness for the two concurrent festivals. She highlighted that more than 200 agencies under MHESI, along with domestic and international partners, will present their work. The combined events will span over 23,000 square meters of exhibition space, blending science and the arts to demonstrate how higher education, science, research, and innovation can improve quality of life and drive a sustainable economy.

The MHESI Fair 2025, in its second year, is themed “Creators of Tomorrow,” focusing on providing a space for collaboration and knowledge sharing. The event is structured into seven distinct zones, each focusing on different aspects of innovation, from sparking creativity in children to showcasing innovative products for daily life and business. One key feature is the “7 Wonders,” a set of seven highlights that includes an exhibition of China’s Polar Research Vessel “Xue Long II” by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and a real asteroid fragment from Ryugu, displayed for the first time in Asia by the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT).

The National Science and Technology Festival 2025 (NST Fair 2025), located on a separate floor, will adopt the concept “Science in Action! For Sustainable Communities.” This festival is designed to be highly interactive, offering hands-on activities that encourage critical thinking and scientific exploration. Ms. Sudawan stated, “These two events are not merely exhibitions or academic activities, but spaces open for everyone to discover their potential through diverse and enjoyable experiences.” She invited the public to participate, with the goal of creating a future for Thailand that is driven by science, technology, and innovation. The events are free to attend and will feature seminars, workshops, and even mini-concerts with popular artists.
