Bentley Supersports Makes Australian Debut Alongside New Performance Models at Sydney Motorsport Park
Brickinfo News Agency – Bentley Motors Asia Pacific has officially introduced the limited-edition Bentley Supersports to the Australian market during a track showcase at Sydney Motorsport Park. The event marked the regional premiere of the highly driver-focused model, which is restricted to 500 individually numbered units globally. Alongside the flagship vehicle, the manufacturer also showcased its latest performance-oriented models, the Continental GT S and the Bentayga Speed, allowing regional depositors to test the vehicles on the circuit.

The Bentley Supersports launch vehicle featured the ‘Daybreak’ specification, characterized by a Jetstream Matte exterior finish paired with an Arctica and Portofino livery. Diverging from a traditional focus on absolute top speed, this iteration emphasizes driver engagement through an extensive weight reduction program, bringing the vehicle’s gross weight under two tonnes. The mechanical configuration consists of a rear-wheel drive system, a two-seat cabin layout, and a dedicated powertrain. Australian deliveries for the vehicle are scheduled to commence in 2027, with a starting recommended retail price (RRP) of $794,000.
Dave Hayter, Regional Director of Asia Pacific for Bentley Motors, commented on the strategic selection of the debut location, stating: “Australia has long been one of our most engaged and discerning markets, and Symphony of Speed reflects the regard in which we hold it. To choose Australia as the first market in the region to debut the Bentley Supersports and new Continental GT S – both representing the very pinnacle of what Bentley produces today, is a deliberate and meaningful decision. It speaks to the sophistication of the Australian customers, and to the strength of a market that continues to demonstrate an exceptional appetite for Bentley’s most ambitious and performance-focused models.”

In addition to the Supersports, the event highlighted the Continental GT S, which integrates a hybrid powertrain with the chassis technology found in the Continental GT Speed. The variant is priced from $499,000 for the standard coupe and $552,000 for the Continental GT Convertible. The Bentayga Speed SUV was also driven on the track, demonstrating a chassis configuration capable of producing on-throttle slip angles. Price structures for the broader lineup in Australia start at $422,000 for the standard Bentayga, $476,000 for the Bentayga EWB, and $495,000 for the Flying Spur.
