Brickinfo News Agency – Thailand-based Burmese pop artist SamSam has officially returned to the music scene with the release of his first English-language single, ‘Taste of You’. The track marks a significant transition for the artist as he enters a new era of his career, moving beyond his traditional Burmese releases to target a broader international audience. Accompanied by a cinematic music video, the new song explores the complex and chaotic dynamics of a toxic yet magnetic relationship.

The thematic core of ‘Taste of You’ focuses on the destructive cycle of heartbreak, desire, pride, and emotional dependency. The song portrays two people who find themselves repeatedly drawn back together despite the psychological damage they cause each other. This emotional narrative is mirrored in the track’s production, which blends dark romance with a high-energy pop performance.

The accompanying music video for the single has been produced to unfold like a cinematic short film. It combines structured narrative storytelling with explosive choreography, chaos-driven visuals, and emotionally charged performance scenes. The video concludes with an unexpected narrative twist, designed to complement the volatile nature of the song’s subject matter.

Born Sittpainghtet, the artist initially established his music career in Myanmar, where he achieved nationwide recognition with hit singles such as ‘Thit Sar Shi Par Naw’ and ‘Shwe Chay Chin’. Following the launch of his debut album Lights in 2019, he secured a prominent position as one of Myanmar’s primary R&B and pop figures, developing a dedicated fanbase known collectively as the “Lighters.”

Shortly after his debut album release, he transitioned to international stages with his first concert in Bangkok in 2020, setting the groundwork for his current relocation and musical expansion in Thailand.
