AIS Marks International E-Waste Day with Collection Campaign at AIS SIAM

Brickinfo News Agency – Advanced Info Service (AIS) has launched an e-waste collection campaign titled "Let the Dead Do Good" at AIS SIAM to mark International E-Waste Day on October 14, 2026. The initiative establishes a drop-off point for discarded electronic devices and runs through October 31, 2026, aimed at encouraging public participation in responsible e-waste recycling.

During the campaign, the retail space features visual displays of decommissioned electronics alongside an active collection center where the public can deposit unused devices for proper disposal. The project aligns with the global 2026 theme "Fast Tech: Don't bin it, bring it!", which addresses the environmental footprint of high-turnover consumer items such as earphones, charging cables, adapters, and portable gadgets that are frequently disposed of in general waste streams rather than dedicated electronic recycling channels.
