SCG Emphasizes AI, Automation, and Low Carbon Innovation at Forbes Global CEO Conference 2026

Brickinfo News Agency – SCG highlighted the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and operational restructuring as drivers for industrial competitiveness during the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2026 in Singapore. Speaking on the panel “Faster Turns, Breaking Limits,” Thammasak Sethaudom, President and CEO of SCG, outlined the company’s regional deployment of low-carbon building materials and technology-driven business models.

The discussion focused on organizational adaptation amid regional market shifts across ASEAN, China, and India. Sethaudom pointed to SCG’s development of Low Carbon Cement as a primary case of combining internal research with external technical expertise to reach commercial scale. According to SCG, the initiative aims to address industrial demand for sustainable construction materials, with expansion underway from Thailand into Vietnam and planned deployment in Indonesia.

“The rapid pace of change in the business world requires organizations to adapt in terms of technology, mindset and ways of working,” Sethaudom noted during the panel. “Innovation is not limited to adopting new technologies; it also means adjusting working models to suit the circumstances so that teams can think, decide and act together more quickly.”

The annual gathering, held on October 7–8, 2026, convened international corporate executives, investors, and policymakers to assess global economic shifts and regional industrial strategies.
