True Corporation Showcases Responsible AI and Sustainable Innovations at GCNT EXPO 2026

Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation presented its digital technologies, educational initiatives, and sustainability projects at GCNT EXPO 2026, held under the theme “FROM SHOCK TO SHIFT – Sustainable Transition in a Fractured World” at True Digital Park. The company demonstrated practical applications of its technology across corporate governance, public health logistics, digital education, and social inclusion to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The forum convened public and private sector leaders, including Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI); Suphachai Chearavanont, Senior Vice Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of True Corporation, and President of the Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT); and Michaela Friberg-Storey, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Thailand. Discussions focused on national digital transformation and multi-sector strategies for sustainable development.

During his address, “From Algorithmic Shock to Ethical Shift: Why Trust is the Currency of Thailand’s Digital Future,” Sigve Brekke, Group Chief Executive Officer of True Corporation, addressed the risks associated with rapid artificial intelligence deployment. Brekke stated that increasing AI capabilities require strict operational oversight and clear accountability mechanisms. He noted that True has implemented an internal AI Council alongside lifecycle governance frameworks covering risk assessments, data privacy reviews, and human supervision, urging businesses and regulatory bodies to establish synchronized Responsible AI standards and controlled testing environments.

True Corporation executives, including Chief Sustainability Officer Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin and Chief Regulatory and Government Relations Officer Chakkrit Urairat, also highlighted operational initiatives targeting environmental and social benchmarks. These include utilizing AI systems to optimize network energy consumption, directing electronic waste into verified recycling streams, providing cyber safety tools through True CyberSafe, and expanding digital learning access nationwide. Through True Plookpanya and the CONNEXT ED Foundation, the company displayed interactive learning modules based on student-centric inquiry and provided educational computing hardware to support digital literacy.

In healthcare logistics, True presented True SkyBridge, a drone transport platform designed to transfer medical supplies and laboratory specimens. Ekaraj Panjavinin, Head of Research & Innovation at True Corporation, detailed ongoing real-world tests addressing regulatory, operational, and weather constraints. Panjavinin explained that the platform links healthcare facilities with third-party drone operators to streamline emergency deliveries and transition deep-tech research into functional infrastructure.

Additionally, True Plookpanya collaborated with the Autistic Thai Foundation and Artstory by Autistic Thai to host the “Healing Through Art” workshop. The session utilized photo frames manufactured from recycled paper pulp, pairing neurodiverse artists with event attendees to support social enterprise development and advocate circular material reuse.
