True Corporation Partners with QTRic and qBraid to Advance Quantum AI Infrastructure in Thailand

Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation, through its Innovation Center of Excellence, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with QTRic and US-based qBraid to launch the “Quantum AI & Intelligent Infrastructure Joint Research Collaboration” project. This strategic partnership aims to build a comprehensive quantum technology ecosystem in Thailand, combining academic research, advanced cloud software, and digital infrastructure to position the country as a regional quantum hub in Southeast Asia.

The collaboration unites the public sector, academia, and private enterprises to accelerate quantum technology development to global standards. By combining quantum computing capabilities with real-world business insights, the initiative aims to solve complex optimization problems across key Thai industries, including telecommunications, finance, retail, manufacturing, agriculture, and healthcare, thereby strengthening the national digital economy.

Under the agreement, QTRic (Quantum Technology Research Initiative Consortium), supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), will provide academic research from over 120 researchers across 19 Thai organizations. Meanwhile, qBraid will grant Thai innovators cloud-based access to over 26 world-leading quantum computer systems through its specialized tools, including qBraid Lab and qBraid-SDK. The True Innovation Center of Excellence will provide telecommunications infrastructure, research labs, and business insights to test functional prototypes.

The joint research project focuses on four core pillars: Quantum AI and Quantum-Inspired Optimization to solve complex computing limitations; Autonomous Infrastructure & Intelligent Systems to enable full automation in telecommunications; Advanced Simulation and Digital Twin Technologies modeling; and Quantum-Safe Infrastructure Exploration to upgrade post-quantum cybersecurity standards for data protection.
