Anutin Charnvirakul Pledges Unity and Public Service Following Nomination for Second Term as Thailand’s Prime Minister

Brickinfo News Agency – Anutin Charnvirakul, serving as the 32nd Prime Minister of Thailand, addressed the House of Representatives today to express his gratitude for the support regarding his nomination for a second consecutive term. Speaking at the Parliament Building in Bangkok, Anutin emphasized his commitment to working alongside all elected representatives, regardless of political affiliation, to prioritize national interests and the well-being of the Thai people.

The address took place during the second session of the 27th House of Representatives on March 19, 2026. Anutin, who also holds the position of Minister of Interior, acknowledged the constitutional process and the diverse voices within the chamber. He stated that the opinions of all members of parliament carry equal weight in his consideration for the country’s administration.

“I want to confirm that regardless of which party supports my nomination, in my heart, every member of this house is a representative of the Thai people,” Anutin stated. “Your voices are equally loud, and I am ready to accept advice, criticism, and suggestions to implement if I am given the opportunity to lead the government.”

The Prime Minister further referenced the royal guidance provided by His Majesty the King during the opening of Parliament on March 14, 2026. He pledged to uphold integrity and public happiness as the ultimate goals for his administration. Anutin noted that all consultations within the parliament should follow constitutional paths to ensure tangible benefits for the nation.

Reflecting on his previous tenure which began in September 2025, Anutin thanked civil servants and the public for their cooperation. He noted that despite leading a minority government initially, his administration successfully moved the country forward in several key areas. He admitted that while challenges remain, the collaboration between the executive and legislative branches is essential for efficient governance.

“Since we met in this chamber, I have considered all members as friends and colleagues with a shared goal: the benefit of the country and the people,” Anutin added. “If trusted to continue as Prime Minister, my government and I will fully support legislative work with respect for the decisions made by the representatives of the Thai people.”
