True Corporation Reports THB 6.6 Billion Net Profit in Q2 2026 with THB 5.2 Billion Dividend
Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation Public Company Limited announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, marking its sixth consecutive quarter of profitability. The company recorded a net profit after tax of THB 6.6 billion, representing a 3.2-fold increase year-on-year, while EBITDA rose 13.5% year-on-year to THB 28.3 billion. Based on these financial results, the Board of Directors approved an interim dividend payment of THB 5.2 billion, representing THB 0.15 per share and a 79% payout ratio.
Service revenue excluding interconnection charges (IC) reached THB 41.4 billion, reflecting a 0.8% year-on-year and 0.8% quarter-on-quarter increase across all operational divisions. Adjusted for reduced domestic roaming revenue, underlying service revenue expanded 1.1% year-on-year. The company's EBITDA margin relative to service revenue improved by 7.6 percentage points year-on-year to 68.5%. Since completing its amalgamation, True Corporation has accumulated an EBITDA improvement of THB 8.9 billion, while its leverage ratio fell to 3.7x, down 0.3x year-on-year.
In terms of user growth, mobile subscribers grew by 479,000 quarter-on-quarter to reach 48.6 million, with 5G subscriptions climbing to 19.3 million. The expansion was assisted by participation in government stimulus programs, educational support projects, and compliance with NBTC guidelines. Additionally, online subscribers increased by 28,000 quarter-on-quarter, driven by network reliability and service quality enhancements.
Group Chief Executive Officer Sigve Brekke stated that performance was driven by service revenue growth, subscriber gains, and operational efficiency gains. He noted that capital allocation remains focused on mobile and fiber network modernization alongside artificial intelligence implementation. Chief Financial Officer Nakul Sehgal added that the quarter demonstrated strong operational execution and financial discipline despite macroeconomic headwinds, geopolitical conditions, and supply chain challenges.
Following the quarterly results, True Corporation updated its 2026 financial guidance, adjusting expected full-year service revenue growth excluding IC to 1-2% year-on-year. Guidance for full-year EBITDA growth remains unchanged at 7-9% year-on-year, with annual capital expenditures (CAPEX) maintained between THB 25 billion and THB 27 billion.
