Huawei Cloud Outlines Secure AI Integration Strategies for Enterprises at Cybersec Asia 2026
Brickinfo News Agency – Huawei Cloud Thailand has detailed its strategic roadmap for secure AI adoption at the Cybersec Asia 2026 conference in Bangkok, addressing the rising regional demand for intelligent transformation. The company emphasized that successful enterprise AI integration requires a foundation of data sovereignty, cybersecurity, and clear operational objectives rather than a purely technology-centric approach.
Speaking to technology leaders, Surasak Wanichwatphibun, Chief Technology Officer of Huawei Cloud Thailand, explained that the Asia-Pacific region has moved beyond basic digital shifts toward enterprise-wide intelligent transformation. This transition is being fueled by the urgent need for improved operational efficiency, cost management, and accelerated decision-making processes. He noted that organizations are increasingly adopting hybrid AI models, which utilize open-source AI for sensitive data while leveraging cloud-based services for broader innovation.
Mr. Surasak highlighted that the success of these systems relies heavily on the infrastructure supporting them. “AI should never start with technology alone,” he stated. “Organizations must first define clear objectives, ensure data readiness, and build strong governance and security foundations before deploying AI at scale.” He further argued that AI performance is dependent on tools that facilitate orchestration and lifecycle management across various environments, ensuring that large AI workloads remain manageable and cost-effective.
The technical framework presented by Huawei Cloud is built on an end-to-end stack, integrating Ascend AI processors with specialized software platforms for model training and deployment. With three data centers in Thailand, the provider aims to ensure data sovereignty and strict compliance with local and international regulations. Mr. Surasak pointed out the advantage of their integrated approach, saying, “We are the only cloud provider that designs and builds both its own hardware and software. This enables optimized performance, elastic resource allocation, and cost efficiency for large AI workloads.”
Regarding AI security, the presentation underscored that protection must be integrated throughout the entire lifecycle of a model, from data quality and model integrity to continuous threat monitoring. The architecture utilizes multi-layer protection, encryption, and AI-powered monitoring to mitigate risks in real time. This ensures that the systems remain resilient against evolving cyber threats while maintaining privacy and access control.
The CTO concluded by emphasizing that trust is the core component of any AI system. “Trusted AI starts with understanding what data can be used, who can access it, and how AI outputs are validated,” Mr. Surasak said. “Security cannot be an afterthought.” Huawei Cloud Thailand intends to continue supporting local industries in turning AI ambition into measurable business outcomes through its secure, security-first infrastructure.
