Anutin Thanks Public, Vows to Work for Nation After Being Voted PM

Anutin Charnvirakul, the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, was voted in as Thailand's new prime minister. In his first statement, he thanked the public and promised to work to push the country forward.

Brickinfo News Agency – Anutin Charnvirakul, the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, has expressed his gratitude to the Thai public after being voted in as the new prime minister by the House of Representatives. Speaking from the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, he emphasized his commitment to serving the country and working to make up for lost time. Charnvirakul stated that with national unity and a focused effort, the new administration would quickly move the country forward.

Following the vote, which took place on September 5, 2025, Charnvirakul told reporters he was grateful for the public’s trust, which was expressed through their representatives in parliament. He pledged to collaborate with all parties for the benefit of the nation and its citizens. “From now on, we will turn our faces and work together for the people and the country,” he said. “We will push Thailand forward quickly to compensate for the opportunities that have been lost. If we are united and determined to work together, we will definitely achieve our goals.”

Charnvirakul also mentioned his father, who is currently receiving medical treatment. He noted that visiting his father was a priority, as his father wished to offer encouragement for his new role as the nation’s leader.
