Don Mueang Airport Operates Normal Flights Despite Surrounding Floods, Opens Free Parking at Cargo 4

Airport management issued an operational update on September 26, 2026, confirming that incoming and outgoing flights continue on regular schedules. To assist passengers affected by surface water on perimeter access roads, airport officials opened 200 complimentary vehicle parking spaces at Cargo Warehouse 4, complete with security personnel and internal transit connectivity to passenger terminals.

Public ground transport systems serving the airport have been reorganized to manage disruptions on exterior roadways. Metered taxi services face temporary suspensions because of flooding on adjacent routes and vehicle breakdowns. Officials advised passengers to use alternative transit, particularly the SRT Dark Red Line suburban train connecting Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal and Rangsit, which operates normally between 05:00 and 24:00 with trains departing every 10 to 15 minutes.

Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) bus routes A1 through A4 continue regular services, though passengers should expect delays of approximately 45 minutes. Pick-up and drop-off operations for all BMTA buses have been relocated entirely to the Service Hall.
