Abhisit Pinmaneekul Elected CEO of KPMG in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos

Brickinfo News Agency – KPMG in Thailand announced on Friday that Abhisit Pinmaneekul has been elected as the new Chief Executive Officer of KPMG in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos, with his official term scheduled to take effect on 1 October 2026.

Abhisit succeeds Charoen Phosamritlert, who is retiring from the firm on 30 September 2026. Charoen has held the post of Chief Executive Officer for the three regional member practices since 2019.

Prior to his appointment as CEO-elect, Abhisit served as the Head of Tax and earlier oversaw the firm's Tax Practice. Throughout his tenure on the leadership executive committee, he has been involved in directing corporate strategy and guiding business development across Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.

Commenting on the transition, outgoing CEO Charoen stated that modern business leadership demands agility and clear focus amid continuous regional market shifts. He added that Abhisit has consistently demonstrated resilience and established governance to steer the regional practice forward.

In his acceptance remarks, Abhisit noted that his administration will prioritize combining talent, industry insights, and multidisciplinary advisory services to support clients confronting complex economic environments across the three Southeast Asian markets.
