True Corporation Tests True SkyBridge Autonomous Drone Delivery Across Bangkok
Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation has conducted an urban operational test of True SkyBridge, an autonomous air logistics platform, utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles to transport commercial cargo to designated delivery points across Bangkok.
The deployment took place across five specific coordinates in the capital, including locations near the Chao Phraya River, ICONSIAM, and Siam Square. The operation served as a live demonstration of the platform’s multi-brand drone coordination capabilities within a dense urban airspace, transitioning the system from previous remote trial deployments into commercial logistics testing.
Developed by the company’s Research and Innovation Center, the platform integrates artificial intelligence, 5G telemetry, and central mission control systems to manage flight operations. Prior to this urban test, the system was utilized for emergency medical supply transport in remote regions and disaster response operations in Nan Province, establishing initial operational safety parameters in non-urban environments.

Ekaraj Panjavinin, Head of Research and Innovation at True Corporation Plc., stated that the primary objective of the mission was to demonstrate cross-industry technical scalability rather than establishing a dedicated retail delivery service. He noted that operational protocols required comprehensive route surveys, structural obstacle mapping, strict regulatory clearances, and safety redundancies to account for shifting weather patterns and equipment parameters in heavily populated corridors.
The system’s core architecture relies on four technical components: automated mission scheduling to reduce manual piloting dependencies, True5G network integration for real-time telemetry and video feeds, embedded machine learning models for dynamic route recalculation, and a unified infrastructure combining cloud computing with physical autonomous hardware. The trial forms part of the telecommunications provider’s broader research into automated transport networks, emergency response systems, and industrial logistics management.
