Brickinfo News Agency – TMBThanachart Bank (ttb) and DBS Bank have announced a strategic partnership to enhance wealth management services for retail and high-net-worth investors in Thailand. Under the agreement, the collaboration will integrate DBS's international wealth platform and regional capabilities with ttb's domestic retail presence and advisory infrastructure.

The first phase of the partnership involves migrating Thai baht-denominated investment portfolios managed by DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand) (DBSVT) to ttb wealth securities, the dedicated securities subsidiary of ttb. Subject to client consent and relevant regulatory approvals, the portfolio migration process is scheduled for completion by May 2027. DBSVT began contacting eligible clients on August 31, 2026, to provide transition details and obtain necessary authorization.

Following the transfer, clients will retain continuous access to domestic Thai baht financial products while receiving advisory coverage from ttb wealth securities. Meanwhile, DBS will maintain its presence in Thailand by serving Private Wealth Management clients through its existing Private Banking framework for non-Thai baht denominated portfolios. DBSVT’s Equity Institutional Sales (EIS) division will continue standard operations without interruption.

Piti Tantakasem, Chief Executive Officer of ttb, stated that partnering with DBS strengthens ttb's wealth ecosystem, enabling more comprehensive solutions for high-net-worth clients. He noted that future phases of the collaboration will include offering selected international investment products from DBS's regional network to ttb clients.
