Brickinfo News Agency – DHL Express has officially appointed Parichart Pramukkul as the new Managing Director for DHL Express Thailand and Head of Indochina, effective May 1, 2026. A veteran with over 20 years of experience within the company, Pramukkul transitions from her previous role as Vice President of Sales to lead the logistics giant’s operations across Thailand and the Indochina region. Her appointment underscores the company’s internal talent development strategy as it seeks to maintain its dominant market position amidst a rapidly connecting global economy.

In her new capacity, Parichart Pramukkul is tasked with overseeing commercial strategies, marketing, sales, and customer experience. During her tenure as Vice President of Sales and Marketing Director, she played a pivotal role in securing numerous industry awards and maintaining the company’s market share of over 60% in Thailand’s international express delivery sector. Beyond commercial metrics, she has been recognized for fostering a high-engagement workplace culture, achieving an employee engagement score of 99% within her previous teams.

Ken Lee, CEO of DHL Express Asia Pacific, expressed confidence in the transition, stating: “Parichart has had an outstanding track record with DHL Express for over 20 years. Her appointment to this position reflects the potential and growth opportunities for internal personnel. Parichart is a leader with vision and business acumen, and we are fully prepared to support her in building a team to drive sustainable growth in Thailand.”

Under this new leadership, DHL Express aims to expand its footprint through specialized logistics solutions, such as Heavyweight Express for shipments exceeding 50 kilograms. The company also intends to deepen collaborations with government agencies and private partners to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), integrating logistics services across the Indochina corridor to meet evolving trade demands.

Regarding her vision for the role, Parichart Pramukkul highlighted Thailand’s rising global standing, noting: “According to the latest DHL Global Connectedness Report, Thailand ranks 27th in global connectedness, up seven places since 2019, reflecting strong business opportunities. I am honored to lead the organization I have been with for over 20 years. I will continue to develop our people and enhance our competitive capabilities for the future to support the growth of our customers and DHL Express simultaneously.”

The report further identifies Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam as key players with high economic integration relative to their peer income groups. As Southeast Asia emerges as a fast-growing trade route, DHL Group has designated Thailand as one of its eight priority markets in the Asia Pacific region. Pramukkul, an MBA and Economics graduate from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and a certified executive coach, is now set to execute the group’s strategy to accelerate growth in these critical markets.
