Ratchada Thanadirek, Government Spokesperson, stated that Paradorn Prisnanantakul, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office and Chairman of the Public Disaster Relief Fund Committee, scheduled an urgent afternoon meeting to process financial compensation. The proposed relief structure follows established precedents for crisis events: 1,000,000 THB for fatal cases, 700,000 THB for permanent disability, 200,000 THB for severe injuries, and 100,000 THB for minor injuries.

Additionally, the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection under the Ministry of Justice has initiated field operations to provide legal remedies and financial support under the Compensation for Victims and Victims’ Expenses in Criminal Cases Act. Government entities are integrating their resources to ensure comprehensive assistance for all impacted individuals in accordance with executive directives.
