Two Thai Organizations Named Finalists for 2026 Garmin Health Awards
Brickinfo News Agency – Garmin has announced the finalists for the 2026 Garmin Health Awards, selecting two Thai organizations—Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group and Thaivivat Insurance PCL—among the global contenders. The finalists will present their digital health and wellness solutions, which integrate the Garmin product portfolio, at the upcoming annual Garmin Health Summit scheduled to take place in Bangkok from October 28–29, 2026.
The two selected Thai companies are presenting platforms aimed at preventive healthcare and consumer health engagement. Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group developed “GetHealth,” a corporate wellbeing and lifestyle modification platform that utilizes human resource channels to convert annual health check-up data into continuous risk monitoring, personalized health objectives, and professional coaching. Meanwhile, Thaivivat Insurance PCL has integrated health metrics into its insurance model by offering a free Garmin smartwatch to users, tracking daily steps and heart-rate zones to provide financial rewards based on physical exercise.
A total of six global finalists were selected from more than 130 nominations across various health and wellness sectors. “More than 130 nominations submitted for the 2026 Garmin Health Awards reflect the power of digital health innovation in driving the next era of healthcare across diverse industries,” said Jörn Watzke, Senior Director Garmin Health Global Sales. “The selection of six finalists recognizes organizations that demonstrate outstanding ingenuity, dedication and vision in developing solutions that support personalized care—a key direction for modern healthcare that is continually evolving and becoming increasingly data-driven. In particular, Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group and Thaivivat Insurance PCL from Thailand clearly reflect the potential of Thai organizations on the international digital health stage.”
The remaining global finalists competing in the event include Asahi Quality & Innovations, Ltd. from Japan in the research category; HeraMED from Australia and Montefiore Einstein from the United States in healthcare; and UPTIVO SRL from Italy representing gym and fitness. All finalists will present their digital solutions to an expert panel and summit attendees during the event. Winners of the Expert’s Choice and People’s Choice awards will receive Garmin smartwatches and fitness trackers valued at over THB 300,000.
The 2026 Garmin Health Summit in Bangkok will feature presentations by industry figures, a keynote address, and networking opportunities alongside the awards program. The event is accessible exclusively to invited attendees, media representatives, or through an application process. Garmin Health serves as a global division of Garmin, providing third-party organizations with access to real-time biometric data through the Garmin Health API and SDKs to support sectors including healthcare, insurance, research, and employee benefits.
