Thailand’s True Corp and OYMotion Partner to Bring Neuro AI and BCI Technology to National Healthcare
Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation’s Research and Innovation Center has announced a strategic collaboration with OYMotion, a global leader in neurotechnology, to introduce Neuro AI and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology to the Thai healthcare sector. The initiative aims to revolutionize physical therapy and rehabilitation by allowing patients to control smart devices and prosthetics through neural signals. By utilizing True’s network and digital ecosystem, this technology translates human thoughts into digital commands, facilitating faster recovery for patients suffering from strokes, paralysis, or mobility impairments through cognitive retraining and muscle stimulation.
The core of this partnership involves integrating neural sensing and AI-based signal recognition to decode brainwaves and muscle activity. This data is then transmitted across True’s digital infrastructure to operate robotic rehabilitation tools with high precision. This innovation is currently being piloted at leading hospitals in Thailand to validate its clinical efficacy before a planned large-scale deployment across the national public health network. The project is designed to address the critical shortage of specialized physical therapists in the country while reducing long-term healthcare costs for patients.
Mr. Ekaraj Panjavinin, Head of Research & Innovation at True Corporation Plc., stated that the partnership reflects the company’s ambition to drive continuous innovation as a Telecom-Tech leader. “We believe that truly powerful technology is technology that delivers tangible positive value and elevates the quality of life,” Ekaraj said. He added that the collaboration establishes an innovation ecosystem combining Thai medical expertise with world-class NeuroTech to transform Thailand into a regional hub for advanced rehabilitation.
On the technical side, the technology focuses on four primary benefits: accelerating patient recovery, providing physicians with precise data for personalized treatment plans, expanding hospital capacity to serve more patients, and elevating the overall standards of the Thai public health system. By shifting from traditional methods to AI-powered rehabilitation, the project aims to grant patients greater independence and a significantly improved quality of life.
Mr. Ni Hualiang, Founder and CEO of OYMotion, expressed his commitment to developing affordable assistive solutions for individuals with physical disabilities. “By combining our expertise in neuroscience, medical robotics, and intelligent rehabilitation with the capabilities of True Corporation’s Research & Innovation Center, we aim to help advance healthcare in Thailand,” Ni stated. He noted that the goal is to transform traditional physical therapy into a smarter, more seamless experience that sets a new national standard.
