Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation has been recognized as the leading provider for both mobile and fixed internet performance in Continental Southeast Asia for 2025, according to the latest report from nPerf, a global network testing authority based in France. The rankings, which are based on real user experience data, mark a significant milestone as TrueMove H has maintained the top position in mobile network performance for ten consecutive years, while True Online has led the fixed broadband category for six years running.

The 2025 nPerf Barometer highlights a substantial evolution in Thailand’s digital infrastructure, noting that network speeds have increased fourfold over the last decade. In the mobile sector, TrueMove H achieved a total score of 85,644 nPoints, securing the highest upload speed in the industry at 24.24 Mb/s. The report also noted that dtac, which now operates under the same corporate umbrella following the One Network integration, led the market in browsing and streaming performance, with a 67.03% success rate in browsing and 80.06% in YouTube streaming.

Khurrum Ashfaque, Chief Network Officer of True Corporation, stated that this recognition reflects the results of the telecom infrastructure amalgamation in ASEAN. “This enables us to enhance both 5G and 4G networks, boosting speed, coverage, and overall performance for customers of both True and dtac,” Ashfaque said. He further emphasized that achieving the highest upload speeds is a critical factor in supporting the rapid growth of the content creator economy in Thailand.

On the fixed broadband front, True Online secured its sixth consecutive year at number one with 142,668 nPoints. The service recorded an average download speed of 332.45 Mb/s and an upload speed of 270.28 Mb/s. According to nPerf, True Online’s streaming performance reached 85.60%, while its latency remained low at 12.49 ms, distinguishing it from other providers in the region who followed closely with 141,456 nPoints.

Renaud Keradec, CEO of nPerf, commented on the long-term progress of the Thai provider, noting the difficulty of maintaining such rankings over a decade. “The nPerf award is one of the most challenging distinctions in the telecommunications industry, as it is measured across multiple criteria, including real-world customer experience,” Keradec said. He specifically pointed to the fourfold increase in speeds as a remarkable success for the Thai market.

Oliver Kittipong Veerataecha, Chief Brand and Media Officer at True Corporation, added that the focus remains on ensuring nationwide connectivity is accessible and safe. “Connectivity goes beyond speed and coverage, bringing people, relationships, and opportunities together seamlessly,” he said. The company indicated that moving forward, it will continue to invest in digital infrastructure to support AI-driven services and the transition of the Thai economy into a more digitally competitive era.
