The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus วงร็อกระดับแพลตินัม เปิดตัวเพลงใหม่ “Slipping Through (No Kings)” พร้อม MV สะท้อนความวุ่นวายในสังคมอเมริกัน โดย Ronnie Winter เผยแรงบันดาลใจจากสถานการณ์จริง

Brickinfo News Agency – The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, known for their alternative rock sound, released their new single and video, “Slipping Through (No Kings),” on June 27, 2025. The song, a collaboration between lead vocalist and founding member Ronnie Winter and producer Matt Squire, addresses current societal challenges. This release follows their signing with Better Noise Music and their first single with the label, “Home Improvement.”

Winter, who resides in Los Angeles, states that the song reflects the destruction and societal issues he observes. He elaborated on the inspiration behind the track, noting that it originated from a session with Matt Squire. Winter felt the music provided an opportunity to articulate his concerns about his community, citing that “my neighbors are disappearing. Families are being torn apart. And our community has reached a breaking point. These aren’t strangers, they’re our friends, our loved ones. They’re not immigrants to us, they’re neighbors. And like Jesus said, ‘Love thy neighbor.’ That’s what this song is about.”

The accompanying music video for “Slipping Through (No Kings),” directed by Steve Tramposch and Jamie Lewis, depicts a desolate, monochromatic world. Characters “X boy” and “X girl” witness friends being taken by masked figures. The “X” over their eyes symbolizes disillusionment, while an “X” over mouths represents a loss of voice. The video concludes with the planting of an Alliance flag, symbolizing rebellion and the band’s fan community, as the scene gains color and the characters’ eyes return to normal, signifying awakening and solidarity among the youth.

This single is the second new release from The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus since their 2020 “EMERGENCY” EP. The band, comprising Ronnie Winter, Randy Winter, Josh Burke, Joey Westwood, John Espy, and touring keyboardist Nadeem Salam, previously released “Home Improvement” which has accumulated over 363,000 views on YouTube. Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2004, the band has achieved significant milestones, including multi-Platinum certifications for singles like “Face Down” and “Your Guardian Angel,” and their debut album, “DON’T YOU FAKE IT,” which is certified 2X Platinum. The band has also amassed over 1.5 billion career streams. “Slipping Through (No Kings)” is expected to be part of a new album from Better Noise Music, with further details anticipated in the coming months.
