AIS Reports Strong Q2 2025 Performance with Growth in Mobile, Broadband, and Enterprise Sectors
Brickinfo News Agency – AIS has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2025, reporting a total revenue of 56,044 million baht and a net profit of 10,982 million baht. The company’s performance is attributed to continued growth across its core business segments, including mobile, broadband, and enterprise solutions. The results reflect the company’s focus on developing and expanding its digital infrastructure and services, reinforcing its position as a leading technology-focused company in Thailand.
In the mobile sector, AIS reported a total of 46 million subscribers at the end of the quarter. The number of 5G subscribers showed notable growth, increasing by 1.2 million from the previous quarter to reach a total of 13.9 million. The company’s nationwide 5G network, which now covers over 95% of the population, has been further strengthened following the acquisition of the 2100 MHz spectrum license from the NBTC, giving the company the most spectrum holdings in the country. This network expansion is being utilized to enhance customer experiences, including live broadcasts of sports like the English Premier League and the upcoming Thai League season.
The broadband business also saw continued expansion, with AIS adding 67,900 new subscribers in Q2, bringing the total subscriber base to 5.14 million. This growth highlights customer confidence in the company’s service quality, which supports modern digital lifestyles. AIS continues to innovate in this area by providing entertainment content through partnerships and expanding solutions tailored for businesses, such as services for event organizers and content packages for commercial venues.
The enterprise segment demonstrated a significant increase in revenue, growing by 17% year-on-year. This growth is a result of AIS‘s efforts to support digital transformation for Thai businesses through its robust infrastructure. A key development in this area was the launch of “AIS Cloud powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure,” which is the first Hyperscale Cloud with an in-country data center operated by a Thai company. This initiative is designed to assist both public and private sector organizations in leveraging AI effectively for their operations.
