GWM Set to Launch NEW GWM TANK 500 Diesel PPV in Thailand on July 24

Brickinfo News Agency – GWM (Thailand) is preparing to officially launch the NEW GWM TANK 500 DIESEL, a premium PPV (Pickup Passenger Vehicle), on July 24, 2025. This introduction is significant as Thailand will be the first country worldwide to receive this specific model. The vehicle integrates the latest diesel technology with premium features, aiming to establish a new presence in the Thai PPV market.

The official launch and pricing announcement will be live-streamed nationwide starting at 4:30 PM on July 24, 2025. The event can be viewed via GWM Thailand’s official channels on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

The NEW GWM TANK 500 DIESEL features a new generation 2.4T diesel engine. GWM notes that the engine technology, previously utilized in the GWM TANK 300 Diesel, offers efficient performance that is powerful, yet quieter and smoother than prior diesel counterparts.

The vehicle delivers a maximum power output of 184 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The TANK 500 DIESEL focuses on four key areas: premium exterior and interior design, enhanced comfort, advanced technology, and comprehensive safety features.

Interior details include Nappa leather seating and Ambient Light. The cabin features 12.3-inch and 14.6-inch central touchscreens supporting Smart Dual Screen Interaction, alongside a 540-degree surround view camera system (which includes an underbody view). Additional features include a Welcome Seat with a massage system, a 12-speaker audio system, N95 air filtration, and 795 liters of cargo space.

For safety, the TANK 500 DIESEL utilizes L2+ safety technology and a strong Cage-Type body structure. The vehicle offers both 2WD and 4WD drive systems. It will be available in three trims: 2.4T PRO, 2.4T ULTRA, and 2.4T ULTRA 4WD. The 2.4T ULTRA 4WD model includes up to eight driving modes. The ULTRA and ULTRA 4WD models also feature a distinctive “Black Warrior” special trim color.
