Renowned Pianist-Composer Yiruma to Hold First Solo Concert in Bangkok: 22 November 2025
Brickinfo News Agency – Internationally acclaimed South Korean pianist and composer Yiruma is scheduled to perform his inaugural solo concert in Bangkok. The event, organized by Mode Entertainment, will take place at UOB LIVE, Emsphere, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 8:00 PM. This will be a single-night performance, marking his first appearance in the Thai capital.
Yiruma is widely recognized for his emotive compositions, including “River Flows in You,” “Kiss the Rain,” “May Be,” and “Love Me.” His music has also been featured as theme music for popular Korean dramas such as Winter Sonata, Secret Garden, Summer Scent, and Spring Waltz. His work appeals to a broad audience, encompassing classical music enthusiasts, piano students, and those less familiar with classical genres. His compositions, often inspired by personal memories and surroundings, are frequently described as “beautiful,” “serene,” “soothing,” and “emotional.” Yiruma’s YouTube presence alone has garnered over 500 million views.
As both a performer and composer, Yiruma has bridged the gap between classical and contemporary music. He has collaborated with various K-Pop artists, including Henry of Super Junior-M, Baek Ji-Young, SHINee, Ailee, 2AM, and Olivia Marsh, further expanding his musical reach.

Yiruma’s musical journey began at the age of five when he started playing the piano. He later moved to London in 1988 at the age of eleven to study at The Purcell School of Music. In 2002, he became the first Korean artist to be invited to perform at MIDEM in Cannes, France. He has since performed in sold-out concerts globally, including across America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, captivating audiences with his stage presence and piano skills.
Yiruma has previously expressed his aim for his music to “heal, inspire, and remind the audience of love and hope.”
