Nana-Penpichaya Boonsaner and Lingling-Sirathreethip Panachanapat serve as the double centers for this single. The song and its accompanying music video aim to convey the group’s journey in pursuing their dreams, set against the backdrop of Chiang Mai’s scenic landscapes.

Nana CGM48, one of the double centers, stated that the lyrics of “Hokori no Oka – Hill of Pride” convey themes of growth, effort, and unity. She described CGM48 as the “Hill of Pride,” representing a destination for many aspiring individuals. The music video (MV) features all members trail running, symbolizing CGM48’s path and the obstacles they encounter, emphasizing their collective effort to reach their goals. Nana also expressed her positive experience during the MV shoot, highlighting the filming location. “What impressed me was the location. We filmed at Doi Pui viewpoint, and the view was truly beautiful, overlooking all of Chiang Mai. I encourage everyone to follow in our footsteps,” she said. “This song has a great meaning.
