The company achieved the highest level currently attained by operators worldwide for the “Service Assurance for Individual Services” and “RAN Energy Efficiency Optimization” scenarios. This recognition signifies True’s commitment to developing an intelligent, self-managing network that not only enhances the customer experience but also delivers significant environmental benefits, including energy savings equivalent to planting 4.2 million trees annually.

This dual Level 4.0 validation is an important milestone, as most service providers currently operate at an average of Level 3, and Level 5—a fully autonomous network—has yet to be achieved by any operator. The TM Forum, a leading global alliance of technology and telecommunications organizations, uses its AN Levels to measure automation capabilities across various network use cases. True’s validated projects, assessed using IG1252 standards and GB1059 assessment tools, are considered deployable, operator-grade case studies that can serve as global benchmarks.

The “Service Assurance for Individual Services” validation, developed in collaboration with Ericsson, involves a Highly Autonomous Network that utilizes Intent-Based Operation (IBO) technology. This AI-driven system acts as an “AI Operations Team,” monitoring over 80 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 24 hours a day. It proactively predicts and optimizes issues before they can impact service, ensuring TrueMove H and dtac mobile users experience continuous speed and quality on both 5G and 4G. Key functions include predicting high-traffic areas to automatically boost capacity and detecting interference to immediately adjust antenna settings and transmit power.

The second validation, “RAN Energy Efficiency Optimization,” focuses on comprehensive base-station energy management. This AI project intelligently reduces consumption during periods of low usage and instantly reactivates base stations when demand increases, all while maintaining signal quality. This system, which involves multi-vendor data collection and advanced traffic prediction, has resulted in a 10-12% reduction in energy consumption in nationwide live operations. This reduction equates to a cut of 40,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, or the energy saved from planting 4.2 million trees annually.
