Bangkok Transforms into Global Music Hub with SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2025
Brickinfo News Agency – The two-day SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2025 festival drew tens of thousands of fans to IMPACT Challenger Halls 1-3 from August 23–24. The event, in its second year, established Bangkok’s position as a major festival metropolis, showcasing a diverse lineup of international, Asian, and local artists. The festival grounds, with their vibrant sponsor booths, merchandise zones, and photo landmarks like the iconic “Summer Sonic” tower, became a communal space where fans could engage and celebrate the unifying power of music.

The MAHANAKHON STAGE on Day 1 kicked off with a burst of energy from HITGS, followed by the surreal soundscapes of KIKUO. The crowd’s enthusiasm soared with BUS because of you i shine and the hard-hitting rock of BAND-MAID.

The night’s energy reached new heights with Japanese duo Creepy Nuts, while on the THONBURI STAGE, SO-SO impressed with his beatboxing skills.
The evening culminated in highly anticipated performances by JVKE, the global debut of Snow Man, and a commanding set from 21 Savage.
The night concluded with a powerful headlining performance by BLACK EYED PEAS, who transformed the venue into a massive club.

Day 2 of the festival continued to highlight Thai soft power, with a performance by Lamyai Hai Thongkham on the MAHANAKHON STAGE. Other acts on this stage included the rookie boy group KickFlip and globally-recognized BE:FIRST. The audience’s excitement for local talent was evident during Jeff Satur’s performance, where thousands of fans raised their phone lights to create a “sea of stars.” International rock bands The Rose and BABYMETAL delivered high-octane sets, while CHANYEOL from EXO brought his unique blend of rap and ballads. The energy climaxed with Camila Cabello, who turned the hall into a dance floor with her Latin-infused hits.



The grand finale of the festival was a captivating performance by global icon Alicia Keys. Her set included a powerful rendition of “If I Ain’t Got You” and “Empire State of Mind,” which featured visuals of both New York and Bangkok. A surprise appearance by Thai superstar MILLI further energized the crowd. The night, and the festival, concluded with a powerful and emotional singalong of “No One,” with fans of all backgrounds joining in chorus. The THONBURI STAGE also served as a hub for diverse talent, featuring acts from the Philippines (BGYO), Singapore (LULLABOY), and a variety of Thai artists, solidifying its role as a showcase of musical diversity.
The successful organization of the event by Bangkok Connect, in collaboration with Paradise E&A and Creativeman Productions, with CI Showbiz as the Official Local Partner, has set a new standard for music festivals in the region. The event not only created unforgettable memories for fans but also showcased Bangkok as a premier destination for large-scale international music events, reinforcing the “borderless power of music” to connect people from around the world.
