True Corporation Deploys Mobile Infrastructure to Aid Border Evacuees

Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation has rapidly deployed Cell-On-Wheel (COW) mobile base stations and Temporary Sites to enhance 5G/4G mobile signals at evacuation centers in Northeastern and Eastern Thailand. This initiative aims to support residents affected by the situation along the Thailand-Cambodia border. The affected provinces currently include Buriram, Surin, Sa Kaeo, and Chanthaburi, with Temporary Sites also installed in Sisaket.

The telecommunications provider has installed free Wi-Fi at approximately 50 evacuation center locations across multiple provinces to facilitate emergency communications. True Corporation has also distributed 1,000 free SIM cards for voice and messaging, with over 500 reportedly in use. In addition to communication support, free access to TrueVisions Now Pop is being provided. Support operations are ongoing in Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, Sa Kaeo, Ubon Ratchathani, and Chanthaburi.

True Corporation is also offering support to its existing monthly and prepaid TrueMove H and dtac customers. This includes 10 GB of free internet, 100 free voice minutes, and extended payment deadlines for services. The company states its commitment to maintaining reliable communication systems during emergencies and is coordinating with the NBTC to assist those impacted by the border situation.

To address increased user demand, True Corporation is strengthening 5G and 4G network coverage at evacuation centers with COW units and Temporary Site installations. Network parameters are being adjusted to match usage patterns, and engineers are on-site to monitor signal performance. The company’s Business and Network Intelligence Center (BNIC) is also providing 24/7 network monitoring and management, utilizing AI systems.
