CGM48 Releases Special Unit Song “Sad Cupid”, Produced by F.HERO

Brickinfo News Agency – CGM48, a prominent group under the iAM label, has launched a new single titled “Sad Cupid” as a special unit project. The track features an electronic pop sound and is produced by Golf F.HERO. This unit includes CGM48 members who secured the top ranks in the most recent general election: Kaning-Vitita Srasreesom, Nenie-Phitchayapha Supanya, Shampoo-Kodchaporn Leelatheep, and Sita Teeradechsakul.

The “Sad Cupid” unit is designated as Part 1 of a Special Project for the Kami7, which refers to the top seven members who received the highest number of votes during the BNK48 & CGM48 Senbatsu General Election 2025 held in March 2025.

The song’s sound incorporates POP, UK GARAGE, and electronic pop influences. Lyrically, the track focuses on themes of sadness and heartbreak. It tells the story of a character who acts as both a consultant and a Cupid (matchmaker) but tragically finds that their own arrow has struck their own heart.

In addition to production by Golf F.HERO, the song’s choreography was developed by Belle-Supatchaya Bunyasukhanon, also known as Belle China Dolls. “Sad Cupid” by CGM48 is currently available for streaming on all major platforms.
