เบนท์ลีย์ มอเตอร์ส เปิดตัว The Virtuoso Collection ระบบเสียง Naim for Mulliner ออปชันพิเศษสำหรับ Bentayga และ Continental GT พร้อมเทคโนโลยี Dolby Atmos

Brickinfo News Agency – Bentley has officially expanded its high-end in-car audio capabilities with the introduction of the Virtuoso Collection, a limited-edition series featuring the Naim for Mulliner sound system. Originally developed for the exclusive Batur model, this technical setup is now being integrated into the Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Bentayga, with the Flying Spur scheduled to follow. The collection focuses on technical acoustic optimization through hardware upgrades and immersive software integration, marking a shift toward studio-grade sound for the brand’s production models.

The technical core of the system involves a collaboration with Dolby Laboratories to integrate Dolby Atmos, allowing audio to be rendered in a multi-dimensional space. To complement this, Bentley utilized Fraunhofer Symphoria rendering technology, which is specifically tuned to the cabin geometry of each model to balance surround sound distribution. Hardware improvements include hand-wound Focal driver units with a 15mm increase in height, resulting in 20 percent more cone movement compared to previous units. These drivers utilize patented ‘M’ cones made from a single-piece profile designed to maximize rigidity while maintaining a low weight to reduce distortion.

Acoustic engineering extends to the vehicle’s interior materials. The Virtuoso Collection features Dinamica inserts strategically placed within door panels to absorb unwanted frequencies and vibrations. Furthermore, the bespoke Naim for Mulliner speaker grilles have been redesigned with a new pattern that provides a 26 percent increase in acoustic transparency. This ensures that the high-frequency output from the tweeters, which feature an aluminum and magnesium alloy composition, reaches passengers with minimal interruption.

The collection is categorized into three distinct interior themes: Soprano, Tenor, and Bass. These themes dictate the material palette, ranging from Open Pore Crown Cut Walnut in the Soprano specification to Piano Gravity Grey and Beluga Dinamica in the Tenor and Bass versions. Beyond the standard themes, Bentley’s Mulliner division offers further customization for clients seeking specific aesthetic or acoustic adjustments.

Visually, the series is identified by Champagne Gold detailing applied to the exterior winged badges, exhaust tips, and interior treadplates. The cabin also includes a unique radial embroidery design that is intended to visually represent acoustic rhythms. While the Naim for Mulliner system was previously a high-cost bespoke option for coachbuilt projects, its inclusion in the Virtuoso Collection signifies a standardized application of these advanced audio technologies across Bentley’s core luxury lineup.
