Brickinfo News Agency – McLaren Racing has officially designated Schneider Electric as its Official Energy Technology Partner, expanding a long-standing supplier relationship into a multi-series strategic collaboration. This partnership covers the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren F1 Academy, and the McLaren United Autosports WEC Hypercar Team. The collaboration focuses on deploying advanced energy technologies to maintain peak performance across McLaren’s global racing operations and its primary headquarters.
The two organizations will work together to implement robust power solutions at race circuits worldwide and at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK. By leveraging a relationship that has spanned over 20 years, the partnership aims to solve complex energy challenges where consistent uptime is critical. Technical focus areas include the optimization of manufacturing facilities, wind tunnels, and IT data centers through the use of resilient systems designed to reduce overall energy consumption.
