Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation Public Company Limited has announced its six-pillar AI strategy aimed at establishing a trusted artificial intelligence ecosystem in Thailand. The initiative focuses on integration across nationwide intelligent connectivity, cloud and compute infrastructure, trusted data governance, specialized AI platforms, responsible AI development, and workforce training to enhance national digital competitiveness.

During a presentation titled "Powering Thailand's AI Future: Data, Connectivity, and Compute," the telecommunications provider outlined its roadmap to transition into an AI-first organization. ทรู is currently integrating artificial intelligence into its telecommunications network operations, digital service platforms, and internal customer management systems to streamline operational efficiency and improve service delivery.

Mr. Joao Pedro Azevedo Oliveira, Chief Data and AI Officer at True Corporation, stated that artificial intelligence is transforming global business operations, government service delivery, and economic competition. He noted that the company's "AI for Thailand" vision aims to combine connectivity, cloud services, compute infrastructure, and managed data to support enterprises and broader society through secure digital foundations.

Under the infrastructure development pillar, True is deploying generative AI within its network management systems, expanding edge computing capabilities, and utilizing infrastructure via True IDC (ทรู ไอดีซี) to accommodate rising enterprise AI workloads. For data management, the organization utilizes standardized governance frameworks to analyze customer needs, optimize network operations, and secure digital privacy.

The company has deployed several internal and commercial AI platforms, including the True AI Hub, which provides enterprises with access to pre-configured AI models and agents. In operational roles, the company utilizes an automated assistant named Mari to support customer service personnel, alongside Genie, an AI-driven network optimization platform designed to manage energy consumption and track infrastructure performance.

Regarding corporate governance and workforce training, True Corporation implemented a Responsible AI Policy earlier this year to regulate data security and transparency, positioning the framework as a reference model for regional industries. The firm has trained over 10,000 employees through an internal network of 200 AI Champions and maintains skills-development partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and external technology partners including Google.
