AIS and Wisesight Launch 6th Thailand Social AIS Gaming Awards 2026 to Drive Digital Economy

Brickinfo News Agency – AIS has partnered with social data analytics provider Wisesight to host the Thailand Social AIS Gaming Awards 2026. Entering its sixth consecutive year under the concept of “Gaming as a Lifestyle,” the event highlights the integration of artificial intelligence trends to celebrate outstanding social media performance within the gaming and esports sectors while driving the national digital economy.

This year’s judging criteria have been upgraded to align with modern digital consumer behavior and to reflect how gaming has evolved into an essential lifestyle across all generations. Ms. Rungtip Jarusiripipat, Head of Entertainment Department at AIS, stated: “Today, gaming is no longer just about entertainment or competition; it has become a defining lifestyle that connects people, creators, brands, and technology. In particular, the rise of Generative AI is opening up new opportunities for limitless content creation. To accurately evaluate performance, Wisesight enhanced its measurement systems to focus on in-depth social data analytics. The evaluation process for the 2026 awards was guided by two industry experts: Mr. Sakkaphon Sawarkkaphun, Chief Executive Officer of NEX Studio and board member of the Thailand Esports Federation (TESF), and Mr. Methee Chuaypu, Lecturer in Games and Interactive Media at the Faculty of Information Technology and Innovation at Bangkok University, who is also the Founder and Game Director of Bugblio Studio Co., Ltd. Together, they oversaw the distribution of a total of 48 awards across eight distinct categories covering all dimensions of digital gaming.

The awards were structured into specialized groups to honor various sectors of the community. These categories included ten prizes for rising game content creators and esports players, twelve prizes for the most popular games, seven awards for the most popular game content creators, and nine awards dedicated to the most popular esports players and clubs. Additionally, two awards were presented for the most popular entertainment adapted from games, six awards for the most popular gaming industry and business entities, one prize for the most popular game content creator on the AIS eSports fanpage, and one special award.
